Jack Wills

From 2006 through to 2012 I worked across menswear at Jack Wills. Being one of the first designers to make up a team of three, I designed the menswear collection from my first day of placement from university. I then progressed to the menswear concept designer across Jack Wills and Aubin and Wills, our sister site, reporting directly to the creative director and company founders. I travelled the world uncovering and reporting on the latest trends and developed the season direction.

I moved back to design in menswear, only this time as the senior designer in charge of a team of four and reporting directly to the head of the design. I focused on designing outerwear and overseeing the entire collections from concept through to execution. Over the three years I was in this role, menswear sales increased by 10% to take a 40/60 split with womenswear and we brought in a suit line, ski wear and made in the UK limited edition products.
